The Nokia G20 runs near-stock Android with a guarantee of updates. This is a good-looking phone and it feels well built. There’s a 5,050mAh battery that easily lasts two days on a single charge, with casual use. However, beyond this, things start to fall apart. Despite going with a near-stock version of Android, software performance is sluggish, and most of the time the phone’s hardware appears to struggle to keep up with the software. Gaming performance is not great either, with most 3D games failing to run smoothly even at the lowest possible settings. The HD+ display falls quite short both in terms of quality and specifications. Charging the phone from a dead battery to 100 percent takes over three hours using the bundled charger. Despite having four cameras at the back, photo quality is quite underwhelming and the same can be said about this phone’s video capture capabilities.
